Hey everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. We are pleased to announce that speaker Dr. Maria Spriggs, Zoo Veterinarian at the Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden in Evansville, IN and current PhD candidate under Dr. Deb Miller, will be joining us this Thursday, March 6th at 5:30pm. Our meeting will be held at the veterinary school in Room A117. Dr. Spriggs’ discussion is titled “What do zoos have to do with wildlife disease?”. This talk will be great opportunity for us to learn about how to facilitate the zoo-wildlife biologist bond, especially in terms of research and ethics, so please come! If that wasn’t convincing enough, snacks will be provided too! See you there 🙂
