The Conservation Management Institute at Virginia Tech is advertising several openings for biological technicians.
The technicians will be trained by and work closely with the USDA Forest Service, Southern Research Station, Center for Aquatic Technology Transfer (CATT) to be on one of two crews.
- Crew 1 will primarily measure stream habitat attributes and sample fish in wadeable streams. Crew 2 will primarily survey road-stream crossings and assess stream habitat conditions for fish passage. The positions will start May 21st and run through August 17th.
